Here’s $50 That Says You’ll Love Your New Smile
Try Our Rembrandt® One-Hour ’Picture Perfect’ Whitening Process
Fresh & Fast, Designed to Last
Looking to have a whiter, brighter smile? In today’s world, you’ve probably
seen all kinds of methods that claim they’ll accomplish this. However,
if you’re not interested in investing several weeks of treatments, dealing
with cumbersome mouth trays, and achieving relatively limited shade improvements,
consider the revolutionary, safe, easy “One-Hour Rembrandt®” process.
With just a one-hour treatment session, this system can lighten your
teeth an average of 8-10 shades, without sensitivity problems and with
long-lasting results!
Safe & Effective, A Worthwhile Elective
If you’re interested in having your smile lightened, we recommend that
you first talk with us regarding your specific goals, so that we can
evaluate how teeth whitening might impact your particular situation.
Some people are simply better candidates than others for a successful
whitening treatment. For example, if your teeth are darkened to a yellow,
brownish or orange tinge due to age, coffee, tea, or smoking, chances
are very good that teeth whitening will bring satisfactory results. However,
if your teeth are a dark gray tone from fluorosis, smoking or tetracycline
use, whitening results may be a bit less dramatic; plus, whitening does
not lighten artificial materials such as resins, silicants or porcelains.
Finally, teeth with periodontal disease or worn enamel typically do not
respond well to whitening. And in any case, after whitening, your new,
brighter smile will be preserved the longest if you’re willing to forgo
such habits as smoking, drinking coffee and drinking tea.
Sound interesting? If so, just mention this article when you call our
office for your appointment, and you’ll receive $50 off your One-Hour
Rembrandt® procedure.

Time Savers
How To Fit Better Hygiene Practices Into A Busy Lifestyle
So many of our patients say: “Gee, I really want to floss every
day, but I just can’t seem to find the time.” If you understand
the importance of flossing but see days flying by without the “time
to floss” try these tips to create more time in your day for good
oral hygiene.
- Think outside the box. Lots of patients fall into the over perfection
trap of thinking that if they can’t brush and floss the very last
thing before bed that it’s no good at all. Analyze your day. When are
you most
likely to actually brush for three minutes, or have enough energy
to floss? For some busy parents their lunch break at work is the ideal
time
to have the quiet they need to floss and do their detailed brush.
- Link to a regular part of your day. An objective look at your schedule
may reveal some activities that occur daily or almost daily. A tiny
dose of television such as the local weather or stock reports may be
just
the pause you need to floss. (After the first two weeks of daily
flossing most people no longer use the mirror and can floss by feel.)
Putting
the floss in a pretty container in the TV watching room may be all
you need to do. Other people find that the shower is just the place
to spend
an extra few minutes to brush and floss. One patient told me that
he likes to use the snooze alarm, so he keeps floss on his nightstand.
Who
wouldn’t enjoy and extra minute in warm sheets on cold winter mornings?
- It’s a family affair. Some couples floss together at the table after
breakfast. Some parents floss while their school age children practice
reading aloud. In other families the parent who supervises the children’s
brushing finds that it’s the perfect time to take care of their own
teeth. Some college students do group flossing before bed.
- Here in my car. The American affair with the automobile can include
oral hygiene. Many of my patients report that when the light turns
red, they reach for their car toothbrush, stimudents or proxybrush.
It may
not relieve stress, but at least you’ll have cleaner teeth.
- Don’t get discouraged. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get a routine
that works. If you try a tip and it doesn’t work for you, try another
idea.
- Work with your Dental team. Talking to your Dental Team may give
you the idea that will work.
